Our Philosophy of Ministry

II CORINTHIANS 2: 14-17

“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession and through us spreads in every place the fragrance that comes from knowing Him. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved, and among those who are perishing; to the one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? For we are not peddlers of God’s word like so many; but in Christ we speak as persons of sincerity, as persons sent from God and standing in His presence.”

Our desire at Trinity Presbyterian Church is to remain true to Christ, whether we find ourselves in pleasant or difficult circumstances, hoping to attract believers and nonbelievers to Jesus Christ. We are willing to step out of our comfort zones, as the Holy Spirit leads, reaching out to others with hope that they hear, receive, and experience the abundant life that Christ offers. Always in His presence at worship, fellowship, school, work, or home we are committed to seek the interests of Christ and encourage others to do the same, for He is our Lord. We understand Christ’s church is composed of many different types of people with God-given gifts and talents, which are to be nurtured and encouraged; therefore, each individual, no matter the age, is needed and useful for the health and well being of the body of believers at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
