The Protestant Reformation in the sixteenth century recovered many biblical teachings
that had been neglected by the medieval church. One of these is the need to live 
coram Deo , a Latin phrase meaning: "before the face of God." 
Living life before the face of God means that we live under His authority and in constant
awareness of His character, demands, and graciousness. As we do this we help to fulfill
the apostle Paul's call to do everything to the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31).
